I am a contemporary artist known for creating bold, expressive paintings with interesting compositions.

I was born, grew up and worked in London. I now live in Dorking Surrey. I studied at St Martin’s then onto Goldsmiths to do a graphics/communications degree. I retrained  later as an interior designer and had my own practice for 22 years. I have always painted but in 2020 I decided to close my business and paint full time.

 

As a graphic designer and subsequently an interior designer my work is a connection of these disciplines. My love of colour, fabrics, textures, and typography all inspire me to create strong expressive paintings.

I am self-taught. I work in acrylics and mainly paint on canvas and board.
